Infants and toddlers learn the languages of their families and cultures through the natural interaction that occurs as part of caregiving and everyday experiences. In this session, learn about the NJ Birth to Three Early Learning Standards components of language and communication, and how caregivers can support infants and toddlers understand and use language to communicate supports the development of social-emotional, cognitive and physical skills as well as their relationships with others.
