WEBINAR: Get Them Moving! Get Them Learning!
Young children need to use their whole bodies to learn. This webinar will introduce participants to an intriguing concept: physical literacy. Join in a lively, active exploration of fun, concrete ways YOU can support young children in practicing and acquiring foundational physical motor and sensory skills that can help them become physically literate. But wait, there’s more! Physical literacy also benefits social, emotional, and cognitive development. Dress comfortably and come ready to practice some moves! Participants will be able to Define the term physical literacy, demonstrate three strategies that build motor skills (crossing the midline, bilateral movement, and eye-hand coordination), and design two physically active experiences for promoting children’s motor and sensory skills.
