 Strengthening Business Practices for Child Care Programs training series addresses basic concepts in fiscal and operational management of center-based child care programs. These trainings are grounded in the belief that strong and sustainable child care businesses can support program initiatives aimed at improving outcomes for children. Module I. Budgets, Projections, and Planning and Module II. Financial Reports and Internal Controls Participants will be more knowledgeable of fiscal terms, concepts and practices. Providers will be encouraged to realize the importance of fiscal planning to the sustainability of their business operations. Tips and best practices to help break down fiscal processes into manageable steps will be shared. *Participation in both sessions is required to receive credit.
