Greetings early care educators. We are thrilled that you are choosing to spend your time with us to professionally and personally develop yourself further. As professionals, we want to make sure that our time together is engaging for all of us. We would like to take a few minutes to discuss meeting expectations and attendance credit requirements.

We ask that you follow these simple steps of webinar etiquette:

  1. Find a quiet space to participate in the meeting.
  2. Enter the “room” a few minutes early to resolve any technical issues.  Zoom Help Center- https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/206175806
  3. Keep your camera on whenever possible.
  4. Turn off your camera if doing something distracting.
  5. Do not multi-task (do other work) during the meeting.
  6. Mute your microphone when not talking.
  7. Raise your hand/speak up if you have something to say.
  8. Use the chat box to convey key ideas/ thoughts or ask a question.
  9. Be interested so the meeting can be interesting!

To receive full professional development credit you are expected to keep your camera on for the entire duration of the training and to be actively participating in all activities and discussions. We understand that often technical difficulties prevent your use of a camera, please let us know when this occurs so we are aware of the situation. Email us: mmontanez@communitychildcaresolutions.org or adefazio@communitychildcaresolutions.org

We also encourage you to use the reactions and chat features in the bottom toolbar of Zoom to provide feedback as well.

We hope to provide the highest quality professional development experience to you but that can only happen if there is reciprocal engagement and conversation. We learn from you just as much as you learn from us and this is your opportunity to share your knowledge, skills, and experience with all of us participating.

Thank you for your commitment to being fully present and professional. We hope you enjoy our presentations!
